Benzonia Area Community Emergency Fund Concert
Mills Community House Association Sunday, December 14 Location: Mills Community House, upper level In Concert: Uncle Ted's Crawlers & Carter Creek String Band Hip hip hooray it's a two band concert! Come gather with us at Mills Community House to raise funds for the Benzonia Area Community Emergency Fund and enjoy two different bands for a dancing good time. Early in this Century, The "CRAWLERS" formed & provided weekly Music Therapy for a group of Wayward Musicians. Over the years, membership changed ,and the original acoustic band has morphed into a group covering a range of genres; including folk, blues, R & B and rock. The Crawlers consist of Mike Ross ............. Guitar, Vocals Doug Gibson.......... Drums, Harmonica, Conga's T S Reichard.......... Guitar, Vocals Dave Green........... Keyboard, Vocals Eric Hunsinger....... Guitar, Vocals Mike F Smith........ Baritone Ukulele Robb Bollenberg..... Bass, Vocals The Carter Creek String Band was formed by Ray Franks, George Grandlund, Fred Bynum, Jack Howell, Jim Curtis and Joe Verschaeve in 2012 along the beautiful and prominent tributary to the Platte Watershed known as Carter Creek.. Winter Evening Sound Bath
Peaceful Vibrations Saturday, December 20 at 6:30 pm This special sound bath event at Mills Community House are designed to welcome all. This new moon and winter solstice sound bath will give participants an opportunity to relax and reflect as 2025 comes to a close. Sliding scale admission: $25-$40 Each session begins with a guided meditation (10-15 minutes) designed to either balance our energy centers and clear out what is not serving us and/or prepare our minds for deep relaxation followed by the soothing sounds of the crystal singing bowls and other instruments. Tune in and drift away... Please bring whatever you need to get comfy (the floor is HARD) such as a mat, blanket(s), pillows or cushions. |
